Artist's Comments

Beaded Dragonfly using wire and Japanese glass Miyuki beads.

Synthetic fabric for the leaves, wools and assorted fibres for the bushes, free motion stitching for the sky and embellishments. Wood beads and thread for the gum nuts.

The leaves and wools layered between two sheets of solvy (wash away), held together with free machine stitching before washing away the solvy.

10" x 13" (25cm x 32cm)

A little bit of Aussie landscape.

It is fantastic work. The audacious mix of color and the rythmic composition, this is harmonious and lively with movement.

I wish you get a DD for this, so as many people could see it as possible!
